Resources for Developers

Conversay underscores its commitment to helping developers write applications featuring Conversational Computing™ with the Conversations Developer Network, or CDN.

CDN is an Internet portal to the world of embedded speech application development. It introduces developers to a host of tools for developing speech-enabled applications and gives access to a developer community that speeds professional growth.

CDN supplies information relating to support for programming languages, spoken languages, and hardware platforms in order to provide the developer with a broad array of options in support of possible deployments into the large, fast-growing mobile marketplace.

A recent addition to CDN is information on JSAPI2 (Java Speech Application Programming Interface, Version 2), the new world standard specification for Java ME™ speech applications for Java devices whose development was led by Conversay. Conversay is the specification lead. Listed as JSR 113, JSAPI2 is part of the Java Community Process (JCP), which oversees development of the Java language and all Java APIs.

For the industry’s most experienced and discerning developers, the CDN features a wealth of valuable tools, documentation and other resources, all with the objective of helping developers build the highest quality speech-enabled applications in the shortest period of time.
