GE sought an extremely robust speech data entry solution for roaming turbine and rotor engine inspectors. The principal challenge was an extremely high-noise (95 dB broadband) environment; digit recognition was a key factor (e.g. the number “6” blends into a background of engine noise, for example, and often does not register).
Conversay spent a significant amount of time resolving the high noise issue and achieved a mid-to-upper 90-percent accuracy level on the most difficult tasks e.g. digit recognition.
